Andre BaldetAndré Baldet was born in the south of France. He majored in graphic art and art history while studying in Toulouse. After graduating, he spent six years travelling and teaching painting on fabric throughout North and South America, the Carribean Islads, Western Africa, the Indian Ocean and Asia to broaden his horizons. Since 1996, he has been working in the Paris region as an illustrator, graphic designer and painter, in a variety of fields including advertising, digital imagery, art poster design and educational books for children. Travel is a recurrent theme in his artwork, and when not in his studio for an illustration assignment or preparing a painting exhibition, he is passionate about traveling the world, visiting new places, and reflecting these adventures in his work.
