Anastasia Miari

Based between Athens and London, journalist Anastasia Miari freelances for the Independent, the Guardian, the Telegraph and Monocle in the UK as well as The New York Times and the National further afield. Her travel- and food-focused stories – usully character-driven – also feature in Lonely Planet, Suitcase magazine and Soho House's House Notes magazine. Her first book, the Wallpaper Guide to Athens, was published by Phaidon in 2020 and her work spans beyond the written word to radio, podcasts and the occasional short film made with co-author Iska Lupton.
