Ana Maria Queijeiro LópezDr. Ana Maria Q. López obtained her Master in Biological Sciences (Applied Microbiology area) and. She was "Assistant Professor" of Biochemistry at the Institute of Chemistry and Biotechnology (IQB) of the Federal University of Alagoas (UFAL). She reeived training at universities in Germany, Spain and England, and completed her PhD in "Molecular Biochemistry and Phytopathology" at the University of Bristol (campus Long Ashton Research Station, Bristol, England), under supervision of Prof. Dr. John Alexander Lucas before returning to IQB/UFAL, where she still works in teaching, extension and research activities in areas of interface between microbial biochemistry with plants, animals, food and different ecosystems.
