Research includes the characterization of the cellular and immunology that control the interaction and modulation of protozoa. As PI on several university and grants from Brazilian Government (CNPq and FAPESP) and international grants. My group have a collaboration with John Hopkins, USA; McGill University, Montreal, Canada; IS Global Institute, Barcelona, Spain; Weizmann Institute of Science, Rehovot, Israel. I establish some basic principles of Trypanosoma cruzi (protozoa parasite cause of the Chagas Disease) interaction with host cells.
