She is Director of the Inflammatory Bowel Disease Center at Lahey Clinic, and she is published in her field. She is also an Associate Program Director of the Internal Medicine Residency and an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at Tufts University School of Medicine. Dr. Barto serves as an active member of the physician advisory committee for the New England chapter of the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America.
