Amy BlocherAmy Q. Blocher was born in 1950 in Miami, FL, the youngest of four. She graduated from Miami Edison High School there in 1968. She earned an Associate of Arts degree from Del Mar Junior College in Corpus Christi, TX, in 1970, a bachelor's degree fromthe University of South Florida in Tampa in 1972 and a Master of Education from the University of Louisville in Kentucky in 1993. She retired as a middle and high school teacher after a career spanning 37 years. She also has studied the Holocaust extensively, and taught about the Holocaust to both adults and students. She is active in Temple Emanuel in Lakeland, FL. This book is the fulfilment of her long-held dream to help preserve the memory of the Holocaust and honor those who survived and the memory of the six million who perished. Read More Read Less
