Amin Beiranvand PourAmin Beiranvand Pour is an associate professor in University Malaysia Terengganu (UMT), currently. He was post-doctoral researcher and senior lecturer (Assistant Professor) in Geoscience and Digital Earth Centre (INSTeG) at University Technology Malasia (UTM) from 2013 to 2016 and researcher in Korea Polar Research Institute (KOPRI) from 2017 to 2020. He earned B.Sc. and M.Sc. in geology and economic geology from Shiraz University, Iran. He received his Ph.D. in remote sensing with specialty in mineral exploration from University Technology Malaysia (UTM) in 2012. He was project Leader of several mineral exploration projects using satellite remote sensing technology in arid and semi-arid terrains, Antarctic, Arctic and tropical environments. Dr. Beiranvand Pour is one the most dynamic researchers in the field of mineral exploration using remote sensing data and has published over 150 research papers since 2011.
