Amber JacobAmber Jacob is a PhD Candidate at the Institute for the Study of the Ancient World, NYU, and co-director of the Scientific Papyri from Ancient Egypt (SciPap) project. Her research focuses on the history of medicine, particularly the intercultual contact between Egyptian and Greek medicine in the Graeco-Roman period. Her dissertation will include the editio princeps of an unpublished corpus of Demotic medical texts from Tebtunis in Egypt's Fayum Oasis.
