Going to work at a great job, taking my kids to school, social events, and dreaded morning meetings. March. My world turned upside down. My career wasn't an essetial business, the schools closed, events were cancelled, and life went Zoom. So, I did what every millennial did. I joined TikTok, binged Tiger King, tried gardening, made bread, and painted the den. June. The walls were closing in around me. The plants all died. The paint dried. The kids were so bored. Getting out of bed became a chore. August. Schools were figuring out how to start the new year. Reality settled deep in my soul. For the foreseeable future, this quarantine life would be the norm. I needed a creative outlet, fulfillment, or gratification. Something to bring back my motivation. I flipped open the laptop. Found the passions that I didn't have time for before. My family encouraged me. Supported me. Nagged me to finish it. Now, Hope Under The Willow, a forgotten passion project is complete. With a second book in the works.
