All of these stories, poems, and artwork are my own, each telling a different tale from the cards that life has dealt me. I find ithard to put my emotions into clear thought, so I find my voice in my art. Everyone has a voice; it's just a matter of finding it.I have struggled with my mental health for my entire life, with my biggest opponent being this hollow feeling of not having a purpose. For so long I thought I had to earn my place in this world. When I first started entertaining the idea of publishing my work, I thought that this was my purpose. I wanted to be a voice for others. I've come to realize that I don't need to validate my existence. This book is simply an expression of me; it doesn't define me; it doesn't prove anything; and that's ok.
