Alona KimhiAlona Kimhi was born in Ukraine in 1966 and came to Israel with her family in 1972. She was an actress and model before beginning her career as a writer. Her first book received the ACUM Prize, and later appeared in English as Lunar Eclipse. Her nove Weeping Susannah received the Bernstein Prize in 1999, and was published in English in 2001, the same year she won the Prime Minister's Prize.
