Aloha RickI wrote my first poem at the age of 14, then wrote 20 more in my senior year of high school. I had a 26 year writer's block and in the year 2005, I experienced some hardships that made me look at things spiritually and poetically. It allowed me to apreciate life and all it has to offer. It allowed me to journal my life story by using poetry. I was also gifted with the gift of empathy and compassion that allowed me to write through the eyes of others and tell their stories.
