Sheworked for the Solano County Office of Education as adrug and alcohol prevention coordinator, as a grant writerto help youth stay off the streets by creating a safe place.In this position she was able to work alongside notableorganizations such as: The Vallejo Omega Boys and GirlsClub, MADD, domestic violence organizations, Habitatfor Humanity, NAACA, BSU, PTA, and Solano CollegeBSU.Ford is an active member in her church's community.She is a member of her church's offices for The ChurchOf God In Christ (COGIC) including: the Usher's Board, Communion Board, and Prayer Board.Ford is an activist and a Humanitarian; she volunteersher time, energy, and resources to do her part and make adifference in her community.
