Alice R ChristyAlice R. Christy has retired from performing in musical theatre, film, and television. She is a member of the Actors' Equity Association, the Screen Actors Guild - American Federation of Television and Radio Artists unions, and is the recipient of th Joseph C. Riley Award for outstanding contributions to the New York Local Senior Performers Committee. Alice is also the owner of Alice Christy Voice Building, Speech & Acting and has coached students in all three disciplines for close to 50 years. While at Los Angeles City College, Alice was chosen to represent the college as a Hollywood Bowl Starlight Girl. At Marymount College, Los Angeles, she was honored by both a music scholarship and the opportunity to do a great deal of performance and music copy for Roger Wagner, head of the music department, and founder of the Roger Wagner Chorale. Alice has also been a music copyist for Irving Burgie, the composer of songs such as Day, O, Jamaica Farewell, and Island in the Sun. She has also written a collection of poetry titled, To Understand.Alice is a happily divorced mother of a beautiful daughter, Pamela, who is a dance teacher and entrepreneur (makes and sells Pamela's Potions), and is grandmother to Brayden, a gifted guitarist and drummer.All illustrations for King George were created by artist, Page Graeber. Her artwork has received several 1st place awards and best of shows. Page also created and painted several wall murals for a children's museum and a large outdoor hotel dining room.
