Alice BrookeAlice Brooke is Associate Professor of Spanish Golden Age Literature at the University of Oxford and Tutorial Fellow in Spanish at Merton College. Her research and teaching interests focus on the literature and culture of the seventeenth-century Hispnic world, in particular New Spain. She has a special interest in women's writing, the works of Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz, and religious cultures.
