Aliasgar ShahiwalaDr. Aliasgar Shahiwala is currently serving as a Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutics, and Graduate Program Director, at Dubai Pharmacy College, Dubai, UAE. He received his MA and PhD in pharmaceutics and pharmaceutical technology from the Maaraja Sayajirao University of Baroda, India, with a particular research focus on the area of novel drug delivery. His postdoctoral research at Northeastern University, USA, centered on applications of nanotechnology in the field of drug delivery and drug targeting. With more than 20 years of teaching and research experience, Prof. Shahiwala has published several articles in international peer-reviewed journals, edited 4 books, and authored many book chapters, as well as being an active reviewer and editorial board member.
