Alfredo Herrero de HaroAlfredo Herrero de Haro holds a B.A. in English (Universidad de Almería, Spain), a Diploma in Advanced Studies (UNED, Spain) and a PhD in Linguistics (cum laude and end of PhD special award) from UNED (Spain). He has taught Spanish as a foreign languge since 2004. In England, he taught Spanish for a total of eight years in different secondary schools, at a Sixth Form college and as a part-time tutor at the Centre for Modern Languages of the University of Birmingham. He is currently a senior lecturer at the University of Wollongong (Australia), where he has been lecturing since 2013. He teaches Spanish as a foreign language and carries out research in phonetics, phonology, language variation and the acquisition of Spanish pronunciation by students of Spanish as a foreign language. To date, he has published over 20 research papers and his eight educational resources for students of Spanish as a foreign language are used by over 1000 institutions.
