Alfred SchrierAlfred Schrier has worked in children's book publishing as an illustrator for over thirty years. This includes most publishing houses and children's magazines such as the Kid City with the Children's Television Workshop, National Geographic's childre's publications, Crayola Kids and Boy's Life. He is a BFA graduate of the Cleveland Institute of Art and an automobile designer at Chrysler in Detroit where he also pursued graduate work at Wayne State University. He spent two years in the Peace Corps in Afghanistan and subsequently traveled a great deal of the world becoming immersed in other cultures.
