Alfred O. AkwalaAlfred Akwala Dr. Akwala is a holder of a PhD degree in Communication Studies from Moi University (Kenya), an M. A (Linguistics) and B.Ed. (Arts)-Linguistics and Literature degrees from University of Nairobi (Kenya). Akwala has an extensive teaching xperience both at University and Secondary Schools levels in Kenya. He has lectured in the following Kenyan colleges and universities on part time basis; Kenya Institute of Mass Communication, University of Nairobi, Africa Nazarene University, Pan Africa Christian University, Pioneer International University, Multimedia University, Karatina University, Kisii University. He is currently a full-time lecturer in the Department of Linguistics and Literary Studies. His research interests are in development communication specifically Health Communication.
