Alfonso Richard GuerreroALFONSO RICHARD GUERRERO spent forty years in law enforcement, beginning in 1974 on undercover narcotics assignment for the Los Angeles Police Department, later becoming a deep-cover agent assigned to infiltrate organizations espousing the violent ovrthrow of the U.S. government. In 1980 Guerrero joined the LAPD's elite Metropolitan Division, where he engaged in special crime suppression duties throughout the city, as well as dignitary and presidential protection. After joining the LAPD's SWAT platoon in 1989, he took part in several high-profile operations, including an emergency assault at LAX against the infamous Rainbow Man.
