Albert MillerAlbert Miller was born and raised on an Amish farm. He never attended high school, having only completed his elementary school in an Amish parochial school which ended in eighth grade. After taking the GED test, he attended Kent State University, grauating in 1979. He was accepted into the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, where he received a Doctorate of Medicine in 1983. He was board certified in Family Practice and had a private practice in Ohio. Dr. Miller has always practiced emergency medicine along with his family practice, and gradually transitioned to full-time emergency medicine. Holding a medical license in the states of Ohio, Virginia, Tennessee, Florida, and Alabama, he has served on an emergency medicine travel team that took him to the fore-mentioned states. He has held Emergency Medical director positions at Mercy Hospital in Willard, Ohio, and Dale Medical Center in Ozark, Alabama. Currently, Dr. Miller works full-time as a staff emergency medicine physician at Flowers Hospital in Dothan, Alabama, and part-time at Dale Medical Center in Ozark, Alabama. Dr. Miller has always maintained a strong spiritual faith and he and his wife, Pat, are active members at Covenant United Methodist in Dothan, Alabama.
