He was not aware that when he took on this consultancy, this was going to be the key factor for 'Aid into Africa' being launched.Aid into Africa delivered, over the years, 350 tonnes of educational and medical aid into East Africa. It was in 2008 after some 38 flights into Africa that retirement beckoned.It was his grandson, Rue Cable, back in 2012 who encouraged him to attempt to write a book.
