Alan F T EvansAlan was born in Peckham October 1939, at the beginning of World War Two.His parents soon moved to Yorkshire. His father died while Alan was a baby and his mother 'Queenie' brought him up as a single parent. Alan was very ill in his teenage years, an spent many months in hospital. In the space of two weeks at the age of 18, he lost his mum, his job and his home.His mum's friend took him in. Her family became his family.His life story is full of heartache and joy, love and triumph over adversity. God at the centre.He met Audrey and got married, and in 1965 Alan entered training for Christian ministery.Together they had four sons, twelve grandchildren and now great grandchildren.This collection of poems and verse are dedicated to Audrey (Audy) the love of his life.
