Alan CurrieProfessor Alan Currie is a consultant psychiatrist in Newcastle and a visiting professor at the University of Sunderland in the department of sport and exercise sciences. His research interests include recovery, social inclusion, mood disorders, moveent disorders and sport and exercise psychiatry. He has published in all these areas and edited a highly commended handbook of sports psychiatry in 2016. He is founder and chair of SEPSIG of the Royal College of Psychiatrists and a member of the International Society for Sports Psychiatry (ISSP).
