Al BenneianAl Benneian first appeared onstage in 1976 playing the dying syphilitic son, Oswald, in Ibsen's Ghosts. He has enjoyed playing fun characters like that ever since! He received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre from Rockford University and Master o Fine Arts in Theatre from Western Illinois University. In 1991, he co-founded The Arizona Shakespeare Festival which later spun off into the Southwest Shakespeare Company. To pay bills over the years, he has worked as a paralegal, high school English teacher, and retirement advisor. Since retiring from the corporate world, he has returned full throttle to acting and playwrighting.
