Aimi MedinaAimi Medina is the author of the memoir Being There: A Daughter's Voice for Her Father's Silence. She holds a bachelor of science degree from Florida International University in elementary education and is a certified art teacher. Her twenty-plus yeas of teaching include a focus on educating children in reading, writing, and visual arts. She enjoys nature through wildlife photography and watercolor painting.
