Adriana HelbigAdriana Helbig is an Associate Professor of Music at the University of Pittsburgh, where she teaches courses on global hip- hop, music and disability studies, and prison sounds. A recipient of fellowships from the American Council of Learned Scieties, National Endowment for the Humanities, American Councils for International Education, IREX, and Fulbright, she has focused her research on issues relating to music and human rights.
