Abhimanyu TharayilAbhimanyu Tharayil completed his Ph. D from IIT Kanpur, India in the field of medical implants. Prior to his doctoral studies he worked on electrospinning of polymers in his Master's. He has published research articles, review articles in peer reviewd journals and book chapters with reputed publishers. He has given invited lectures in the field of biomaterials and has conducted and attended conferences in that field. He is also an independent and certified operator of SEM, XRD, DMA, Micro injection molding, UTM, Electrospinning apparatus etc. He has served as the student president of Indian Institute of metals, Kanpur chapter during his doctoral studies. Presently, he is working as a researcher with Dr Sabu Thomas. His specialized areas of research are biomaterials for medical implants, polymer synthesis, polymer nanocomposites and electrospinning.
