Aaron DworkinAaron P. Dworkin is a classically trained violinist, educator, and activist. Dworkin earned is Bachelors and Masters of Music in Violin Performance at the University of Michigan and currently serves as the dean of the School of Music, Theater, and Dace at UM. In 1996, he founded the Sphinx Organization, encouraging greater diversity in orchestras throughout the United States. Dworkin served as a member of the Obama National Arts Policy Committee, furthering his commitment to increasing diversity in the arts. In 2005, he received a MacArthur fellowship for his work with the Sphinx Organization. Ethos: The Rise of Malcolm is his first novel. Dworkin lives in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Read More Read Less
