A. P. S. SelvaduraiA. P. S. Selvadurai is William Scott Professor and James McGill Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering and Applied Mechanics at McGill University, Montréal. He is the recipient of the Max Planck Research Prize and the Humboldt Award and in 013 received the Maurice A. Biot Medal from the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and the Eric Reissner Medal from the International Conference on Computational and Experimental Engineering and Sciences (ICCES). He has published extensively in archival journals devoted to mechanics and applied mathematics, geomechanics, and computational and experimental mechanics.
