A McA MillerA. McA. Miller. Overdrive. Miller's poems spin from obsessions--paternal, academic, editorial, and military. For thirty years Mac edited poetry and graphics for New Collage Magazine and one-poet chapbooks. He's published widely in magazines (like Southern Poetry Review, Ghost Dance, The Beloit Poetry Journal, and Black Mountain Review) and books including The Contemporary Anthology Series, Florida Poetry, The Dolphin's Arc, and Isle of Flowers. Professor Emeritus ofLiterature at New College of Florida, he graduated from the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College, Duke University (MA, PhD), Princeton University, and Culver Military Academy. He is the father of six children or so. Mac and his wife, the Dickinson scholar and poet Melanie Hubbard, live in coastal Ruskin, FL, a former Christian-Socialist utopia founded by his paternal grandfather.
