A J WanegarAJ Wanegar was born in Massachusetts USA in 1970. As a young child, she immediately fell in love with drawing and painting. She's completed more than 10 accredited art and design courses, obtaining a degree in Visual Communication from the Universityof South Carolina in 1990. AJ has remained active in the illustration and design field throughout her lifetime - developing a style that combines crisp lines and vibrant colors that children love. Presently a resident of Tennessee, Mrs. Wanegar is an award winner both as a watercolor artist and as a children's book illustrator. She's also an advocate for animal welfare and a supporter of non-profits. Her most recent children's book illustration projects include: ALDER (author: Graham Parry) which raised money for Alder Hay Children's Hospital, and HOW I BECAME A HERO (author: MH DeLisle) which raised money for the non-profit Paws Of Honor.
