Most of all, this children's book was inspired by the adventurous spirit, friendship and unconditional love of Big Sil, a real life American Pit Bull Terrier. Once considered America's Dog, the pit bull is one of the most abandoned dogs today. A portion of the proceeds from this children's book will be donated to pit bull charities.
