About the Book

In 9000 BC immortals came from the city of Atlantis. This group of Atlanteans left on a mission to do reconnaissance on the world of mortals. By the time the main team returned to their city the entire population had disappeared forever. They had only been gone for a month.

With no home to return to the six immortal warriors re-entered the rest of civilization posing as mortals. As civilization began to evolved, few of them became gods among the mortal population. However, like in any population, the corrupt tend to rise to the surface and soon the six leaders of the immortals where dethroned.

The six ruled in the 1800's until the renegades removed them all but one. Rajani made his decision from the safety of the burnt out abandon city below Seattle Washington. There he has reined for century's in a subterranean vibrate city of society's degenerates, until now.......

For many years, Deedra Lee has had visions that have driven her forward in her life looking for explanations. She was born in Cherokees North Carolina which is considered part of the Qualla Boundary it is not a reservation per se because the land is owned by the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians. She was raised by mortal parents and her grandfather who only spoke an ancient Cherokee dialect.

In life's little moments, Deedra begins to hear other's thoughts and having more déjàvoo. Deedra's dreams are a kaleidoscopic of landscape that can only be found in the northwest. She finds herself enrolling in University of Washington following a vision of the carvings on an old library door. She is looking for explanations to her dreams and the voices in her head. She feels as though she is losing her mind. A small band of immortals are working, living and going to school at the University of Washington, they since a strong young immortal present. Blaine just happens to run across Deedra on campus and the energy between them could spark a small fire. Unannounced to Deedra she is being watched by these immortals for her own safety. Blaine knows that her energy is the strongest he has ever encountered in someone so young. Knowing she doesn't even know she is an immortal and her energy is open to everyone.

She cannot be found by the the degenerates of the cartel. They are controlled by the renegades one of the most ruthless of the immortals. Her abilities are strong and will most certainly attract the wrong attention.

Blaine is lustfully infatuation with Deedra and at first sight sets the story in motion. Blaine is struck with the ancient's curse, ebrius aeternum, an eternal intoxication for the member of the opposite sex. Deedra does not understand what she is feeling. In his presents, her head spins and her heart races. She begins to get wet in places north and fighting off the compelling urge to rip off his clothes. Not knowing she is under the spell of ebrius aeternum herself. She dismisses all the emotions she is experiencing and ability to feel his thoughts; she attributes it to her abstinence and the fact she is just going mad.
