The protection and promotion of Human need a conducive as well as enabling environment comprising appropriate regulations??? and a well-functioning institutional frameworks. All the actions of the state should be founded on this solemn pledge and duty. Good governance policies should equally aim at empowering individuals to live with dignity, liberty and freedom. Good governance and human rights must be mutually interactive for a progressive realization of an effective democratic-state. Good governance cannot be achieved in achieved in isolation form human rights. The two end, concepts reinforce each other many of their core principles are common. In the present day scenario, these two concepts have an added significance for the good of the common people. To that active the states are under an obligation to fructify the mandates the mandates of good governance and human rights must also do. Whatever they can. Even though these concepts are being forcefully interposed by international economic institutions while dealing with their constituencies, yet they are absolutely necessary for a democratic order based on respect for the rule of law, human rights and for the common good of all. The book explores the various aspects/dimensions of human rights and of the good governance and evaluates scientifically many facets of god governance both at national and international levels.
