Raina born at Srinagar in the Himalayan State of Jammu and Kashmir; had his Masters degree in Commerce and Management Studies at the University of Kashmir; Masters in Tourism Management (IGNOU) and Ph.D. in Applied Business Economics from Agra University. He did his Post Doctoral Fellowship at Florida International University, Miami, U.S.A. Dr. Raina took Major Research Project sponsored by the UGC, New Delhi on the Financial Feasibility of Tourism. Dr. Raina received recognition for his work on tourism from Tourism Planning Division Tobago House of Assembly, West Indies in 1992, Paryatan Visheshagya Puraskar by the Department of Tourism, Art and Culture, Government of Rajasthan in 1996, Fellowship on Heritage Tourism of Rajasthan in 1999, letter of appreciation from Kenya High Commission, New Delhi in 1999 and 2001. Dr. Raina has attended number of National and International conferences on tourism and has contributed 27 research articles in national and international journals. Besides, Dr. Raina's three books Dawatnama, Tourism Industry in Kashmir, Dynamics of Tourism-Concepts, Philosophy and Strategies has been highly appreciated in the academic circles. Presently Dr. Raina is working as senior faculty commerce Dayanand P.G. College, Ajmer. He has been invited to work on the Encyclopedia of the African Diaspora at African New World Studies Florida International University, U.S.A. Dr. R.C. Lodha born in Rajasthan; had his Masters degree in Commerce, M.B. A. and L.L.B. He did his Ph.D. in Commerce (Tourism Studies) from M.D.S. University, Ajmer. Presently Dr. Lodha is working as Chief Manager Credit Union Bank of India. He is the recipient of Rao Bahadur Jaganath Singh Mehta Award 1987, Bhama Shah Award 1988 and C.H. Bhabha Research and Scholarship Award 2001.
