"Fue el sueño más maravilloso de mi vida", dijo Nietzsche muchos años después de subir con Lou Salomé a aquel lugar prodigioso. Esta novela es una escultura que el autor encontró dentro de otra que él escribió en 1998 y que publicó la editorial Planeta en 2001. La diferencia entre ambas es enorme, pero la piedra es la misma.
About the Author: Nacido en Madrid en 1964. Tiene dos hijos: Lucía y Nicolás. Estudió Derecho en el Colegio San Pablo (CEU) y Filosofía en la Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Se ha interesado especialmente por la Filosofía de la India antigua, la Filosofía alemana del siglo XIX (Schopenhauer y Nietzsche sobre todo), la Física, la Filosofía y la Epistemología del siglo XX, y el pensamiento místico (en particular el indio, el cristiano-medieval, el alemán y el español). En los años ochenta escribió y adaptó obras de teatro para su propia compañía amateur: Marionetas imaginarias. Una de estas obras fue una adaptación de Las brujas de Salem (Arthur Miller). A principios de los años noventa fue profesor de derecho mercantil y director de la European Business School en Madrid. Ejerció como abogado durante quince años (1987-2003). Entre sus clientes destacaron varias multinacionales alemanas. A finales de los noventa escribió para Diario 16 una columna semanal en la que relacionaba informaciones de la actualidad con los grandes temas y pensadores de la Historia de la Filosofía. Autor de tres novelas publicadas: El filósofo del martillo (Planeta), El bosque de Albaricoques (Imagine) y El nuevo filósofo del martillo (El Huerto Infinito-Editorial). Autor de numerosos cuentos y artículos periodísticos. Ha participado en varias secciones sobre Filosofía en Radio Nacional de España (Radio 1). Ha sido crítico literario en la revista Cuadernos Hispanoamericanos (Agencia Española de Colaboración Internacional). Desde 2004 dirije la Escuela Libre de Filosofía de Madrid (Ámbito Cultural). Mantiene el blog filosófico "www.davidlopez.info", el cual ofrece gratuitamente las obras filosóficas fundamentales de su autor: - Las bailarinas lógicas (Un diccionario filosófico). - Filósofos míticos del mítico siglo XX. - Siluetas en mi caverna. - Tribuna política.
