Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2003 im Fachbereich Germanistik - Neuere Deutsche Literatur, Note: 1,7, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: "[...] man [muß] sprechen, wie Taubstummer und Blinder sich miteinander verständigen[...]" Marcel Beyer entwirft in "Das Menschenfleisch" eine einzigartige Analyse über das Verhältnis von Sprache, Liebe und Wirklichkeit. Diese Analyse ist zu vergleichen mit Günther Eichs Versuch, durch Sprache die Wirklichkeit zu finden. Günther Eich geht davon aus, dass man nur das kennt, was man liebt. Marcel Beyer entwickelt daraus ein poetisches Geflecht, indem die Sprache zu einer Art Liebeskonzept wird. Die Sprache ist dabei ein Körper, denn eine Kommunikation zwischen Taubstummen und Blindem kann nur auf Berührungen basieren. Die Struktur des Romans wird durch eine klar gekennzeichnete Intertextualität unverkennbar. Neben dieser Intertextualität spielt Marcel Beyer mit einer ausgeprägten Motivik, die er in seinen Kontext einbindet. Das erste Kapitel wird sich mit dem Liebeskonzept auseinandersetzen. Zuerst wird der Idee nachgegangen innerhalb einer Partnerschaft eine neue Sprache zu konstruieren. Diese Neufindung der Sprache ist bedeutend, weil der Mensch die Sprache zur Kommunikation benötigt, jedes Wort, das in der Beziehung fällt, jedoch bereits vorkodiert ist. Die vollkommene Verbundenheit in der Beziehung besteht somit in der Abgrenzung durch eine eigene Sprache. Danach wird das Verständnis von Sprache als Körper betrachtet. Im zweiten Kapitel wird genauer auf den unabtrennbaren Aspekt der Wirklichkeit eingegangen. Marcel Beyer spielt damit, die Grenze zwischen Wirklichkeit und Fiktion zu verwischen und somit den Leser zu irritieren. Dabei wird zuerst die Romanschreibung als Bewusstseinsstrom betrachtet. Dann wird verdeutlicht, wie die Eifersucht sowohl sprachlich, als auch im Bezug auf die Wirklichkeit verarbeitet wird.
