The industrial sector of our nation is witnessing changes in several dimensions. The external environment in which the environment in which the enterprise operates is fast changing. Chages occurs in terms of technology, economic reforms, financial sector reforms, political factors and social factors. All these have serious implications on the organisations in the sense that they have to adapt to chage. The book is an outcome of a serious research work undertaken, by the authors in the industrial sector of kerala, considering the manufacturing sector and service sector separately.
About Author :
Dr Kumari V K Shyni was awarded PhD from the Univesity of Kerala for her work on Management of Chage. She undertook an empirical study in the industrial sector of the State making a separate analysis for the manufacturing sector and the service sector. She also has to her credit an M.Com degree and M.Phil Degree. She has published several articles on her area of interest which include Change Management etc.
Dr G Simon Thattil is curently Reader, The Department of Commerce, University of Kerala with over 14years of experience in teaching and research. He is an approved research guide in the faculty of commerce and management studies in the University of kerala and M.G university, Kottayam. He has produced 4 PhDs and is currently guiding the Doctoral work of 13PhD scholars and 4 M.Phil scholars. H ehas been awarded several project assignments including a major research project of the UGC.
