He holds a Ph.D. in theology from the University of South Africa, D.Min. in Christian Spirituality from Fuller Theological Seminary, M.Div. from Asbury Theological Seminary, B.S. in biology from the Lyman Briggs school at Michigan State University, and certificates in Flourishing in Ministry coaching through Azusa Pacific University and reflective pastoral supervision from the Wesley House Cambridge, England.
