Paresh Kumar PatnaikParesh Kumar Patnaik, an eminent story teller and novelist of Odia literature, is well-known for his unique style of writing short stories for the last three decades. A recipient of Odisha Sahitya Academy award, Patnaik has carved a niche for himselfwith the craft of his storytelling. His novels and short stories highlight social issues with a unique style of humour and compassion. He is a strong voice against religious fanaticism and superstitions, while his short stories on mythology show new interpretations of characters.
