Denise Howard LongDenise Howard Long's short fiction has appeared in Pank, Smokelong Quarterly, Pithead Chapel, The Tishman Review, The Evansville Review, Blue Monday Review, and elsewhere. Her story "What We See" was selected as a Best Small Fiction 2018. She's been warded residencies at Hedgebrook and Dorland Mountain Arts Colony. Her short story "Recuerdos Olvidados" was runner-up for the Larry Brown Short Story Award, and her story "Where It's Buried" won Five on the Fifth's Annual Short Story Contest.
